Pokémon Pocket Pokédex

A 400-plus-page game guide produced in-house. The brief was to build a book layout that was actually easy to flip through — fast lookup, intuitive navigation, and a hierarchy that held up across hundreds of entries.

The Pokémon index system isn't the easiest to navigate cold, but it's the one fans already know. I aligned page numbers to index numbers so the book reads the way readers expect — and the mirrored layout keeps index and basic info on the outside edges of each spread for fast skimming.

Page templates for the entry types — base data, move lists, evolution details — designed so a reader can find the field they need without parsing the layout.
